About HEW — How Engineering Works Co., Ltd.
Mission
Engineering service grounded in experience
Our engineers focus on solving real and practical problems, grounded in hands-on production engineering experience acquired during their time as field developers, as well as accumulated expertise gained through diverse consulting engineering projects. We believe that effective engineering starts from real-world delivery and execution, not from theory alone.
Core Competencies
We have extensive safety engineering experience from IP-level components such as SoC bus interconnectors to large-scale chips including AI accelerator SoCs, we have built deep expertise in functional safety design and analysis.
We also possess strong safety engineering experience in automotive platform software. Our team has code-level engineering experience across all Classic AUTOSAR modules and is highly familiar with large-scale platform software based on POSIX and hypervisor architectures. This includes functional safety engineering for customized software platforms applied to production vehicles, including ADAS systems.
Beyond conventional vehicle systems such as ADAS, body domain, powertrain domain, and EV/HEV systems, we also have experience with zonal control systems that represent the future direction toward Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV).
We have experience conducting functional safety assessments for products targeting global customers such as BMW, Porsche, ZF, and Audi. Based on this experience, we are able to eliminate expectation gaps from the early stages of development projects and establish trust with global customers.
We deliver high-quality engineering services across the entire scope of functional safety, from silicon IP to automotive SoCs, platform software, vehicle-level application software, ECUs, and complete vehicle functions.
